MITUTOYO USB DIRECT CABLES
STREAMLINED DATA AQUISITION
Mitutoyo's USB Direct Cables are absolutely the easiest way to get data from a Mitutoyo Digital Gage into a Windows based software program like Microsoft Excel, or even a Windows-based SPC Software like MeasurLink or QC-CALC.
No extra software is required! Just connect the cable to a USB port on your computer, and Windows will recognize the cable as a keyboard, or Human Interface Device (HID).
To send data to your PC, just put your Windows mouse cursor in any software, wherever you want the data to be placed just like you would if you were going to type in the data. You now can send data from your gage to ANY Windows-based software that allows you to type in data just by pressing the data send button on the gage or on the cable connector that is plugged into the gage.
Data sending can start immediately after connecting the measuring instrument to a computer!
