Mitutoyo LiteMatic Vacuum System for Foil Thickness Measurement The Mitutoyo LiteMatic is ideal for providing ultra-high accuracy thickness measurements with extra-low measuring force. Mitutoyo now offers a Vacuum Plate System for use with the LiteMatic to hold flat and stable, easily deformed materials. LiteMatics allow measurements at forces as low as 0.01N. The Ceramic Ball contact included with the Vacuum Package will increase the force to 0.04N. The vacuum plate absorbs the contact-sensitive specimen, such as battery film, onto the plate surface for more stable measurement.
